What your result means
This estimates how far £1 of petrol could take you at the price and UK MPG entered. It is the smallest fixed-budget view: it shows the buying power of a pound rather than a £5, £10 or £20 top-up.

Using a £1 estimate

A change in either MPG or price can be material over many miles, even when the £1 result moves by only a fraction of a mile.
